I am a general, all-around naturalist, with a love of birds, marine mammals and bears leading the way. Trees and plants and intertidal life are right there, with fungus and lichen always catching my eye and eventually my camera and pencils as I try and document it all. Since the fall of 2018, I have been a naturalist for Bluewater Adventures. Each trip is an opportunity to build knowledge in the natural and cultural history of the areas I am privileged to guide in. We get a chance to share these special place with folks from all over the world.
I continue to build out my skills and certifications in First Aid, boat driving and bear guiding. There's always something to learn and the crews, guests and expedition leaders I get to work with are a wealth of knowledge.
My goal is to continue to build those skills and seek that knowledge so that I can explore, and help conserve, more of the special places around the planet.
See you out there!
